Hi there,
I hope you’re all well. Here are your 3 coaching tips for this week:
⚽️ Warmup of the week
A simple warmup, starting without the ball, for agility, speed, control:
Triangle Tig!
Begin without a ball to focus on outwitting your opponent with slick decision-making and agility before adding a ball.
Adapt the size of the triangle to suit the abilities of the pupils.
🥅 Game of the week
A 6v3 rondo from Atletico Madrid, to try and move defenders in order to ‘hit’ the target player:
Atletico Madrid 6v3 Tactical Rondo 🎯
✅ Look to circulate possession to move defenders
✅ Objective is to switch through central player
✅ If blues win possession, greens immediately counter-press

💡 Topic of the week
A nice diagram from the English FA on the different types of coaching intervention. Why not try and combine different approaches indeed?
Love this resource by @FA
1. Command "I want you to.."
2. Q&A "What do you think.."
3. Observe "Let's watch.."
4. Guided Discovery "Show me how to.."
5. Trial & Error "try to.."
Try & find a good mix; you'll always favour some over others I feel. For me I think its 1,2 & 5
I hope you enjoyed this. Until next time!
