Next, a simple SSG to combine to attack. Start with 4v4 in the middle, progress with 1 defender and 1 attacker in each end zone:

And lastly: Funiño! Although not brand new, this fun-oriented format is apparently growing in Germany. Check out these slides here. Lots of interesting ideas!
The new German soccer: Games at U7 and U9 will be two- or three-a-side, with four goals and no GKs. At U11, teams will be up to 5-a-side, transitioning 9-a-side play at U13. All players will be guaranteed equal playing time. No keeping of score.
