Here are your highlights for this week:

⚽️ Practice of the week

A classic setup with 4 corner target zones - great for encouraging composure on the ball and quick 360-degree thinking. 1 point for receiving in a zone, 2 points for dribbling in - nice stuff.

A little bit rushed with the animation this evening, but a good training component for switching the play/point of attack. Lots of decision making for the team IP & OOP 🧠 @TacticalPad @tacticalpedia @SessionShareNet @bestsoccerdrill @socdrillsonline0

📖 Topic of the week

Futsal keeps gathering more momentum amongst coaching circles, but where to start if you have never coached futsal, only ‘normal’ football?

Well, what about not one, but two, free guides on futsal coaching, from the UEFA and FIFA? Both are great, cover loads of topics including session plans, coaching philosophies, etc.

💡 Idea of the week

How much do you say as a coach, and why? Gavin Rose suggests not to say much, simply due to your players’ naturally limited ability to handle information.

You can give your players too much information at half-time, so it's important to keep your points short and simple 🗣️i
